Analysis of machine vibrations
Detailed knowledge of the machine’s technical state is necessary for a decision about how long to run the machine, or if it is needed to repair it. The vibration analysis reveals a bearing defect, an imbalance, a misalignment, a transmission damage or a defect of lubrication. In this area, company dif® provides one-time non-periodical measurements, periodic measurements, but also an implementation of diagnostic systems.
Balancing of machines
Along with misalignment, imbalance is a typical defect of most of the machines. Higher dynamic load causes, thanks to the imbalance, a bearing defect, an increased strain of the base or a decreased lifetime period of the machine. The typical example is a dynamic balancing of the fan’s circulating wheel or the slow-running cylinder of the paper machine.
Computational model of the machine processed by the finite element method(FEM)
It reveals spots which are dynamically strained or serves for a verification of construction behaviour during an increasing speed of the machine. Our partner for this activity is the University of Zilina, The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering – Department of applied mechanics.
Analysis of its own frequencies using the deceleration method and the impact test
It serves for a verification of the model FEM and defines frequencies that are dangerous for the machine operation and can cause their damage.
Structural stroboscopy - operation shapes of vibrations
This method reveals for example loosened base plates, loosed anchor bolts etc.
