Our company did a geometry measurement and an alignment of selected cylinders during a complex reconstruction of the paper machine in the factory Karton i Upakovka, Uchaly, Russia. The measurement itself took place during last two weeks in October 2010. The work was done as a sub-delivery for technology provider Papcel a.s.
The control measurement of geometry of all cylinders was carried out. Those cylinders, of which the deviation from a vertical to an axis of the machine or from a horizontal plane was higher than 3mm, were aligned with the accuracy of ±1mm. This accuracy of measurement was requested by the investor. In the contribution, there are described the employed instrumental equipment and aids, of which the technical parameters had to meet the conditions for requested alignment accuracy of particular cylinders.
